"Richer for Her"

We all know women who have made our lives richer. We celebrate those women in our lives by presenting music composed by women, based on poetry written by women. We owe so much to those who have kept the written word, art, and music alive for all of us.

"Let Music Live: A Bel Canto Legacy"

Performed April 21, 2024 at Kirkwood United Methodist Church

Bel Canto began in 2010 and except for a two-year break due to Covid, we have continued to perform concerts each year. “Let Music Live” is a celebration of all the music we have made together. In addition, this was the farewell concert for our founding director, Mary Poshak, who chose favorite pieces from Bel Canto’s 14-year repertoire.

"Heaven Unfolding"

This performance, titled “Heaven Unfolding”, invites listeners into a musical journey that imagines a world shaped by kindness, empathy, and the transformative power of human connection. we explore the idea that heaven is not a distant or abstract place—but something we help create here and now through how we care for one another and engage with the world around us.

"The Great Escape"

This concert is inspired by what helps us escape from the stressors and complications life puts in front of us. We turn to things like nature, friendships, reading, baking, and of course, beautiful music.
